An unidentified man has been found dead on an apartment balcony after suffering serious injuries.

Emergency services arrived at the apartment in western Sydney on Corniche Drive in Wentworth Point at 2.45pm on June 18 to find the man dead.

Before emergency services arrived a call had been placed to police reporting a concern for the welfare of a person in the apartment.
Investigators are attempting to piece together the incident but said the man was found on the apartment balcony with head injuries.
The man has not yet been formally identified.
"A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident has commenced," NSW Police said.
"A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner," the spokesperson said.
